Established in 1998 and housed in two
historic woolsheds located in the heart of Masterton's tourist area, The Wool Shed
preserves and displays our iconic rural
culture and heritage through interactive,
fun and informative exhibitions.
The museum is also the home of the
Golden Shears - the world famous
international shearing and wool handling championships.
Tours, shearing, spinning and weaving demonstrations available.
