Winner of 1995 Wellington Tourism
Award for Best Heritage Experience

The Fell Museum houses H 199, the only remaining Fell Locomotive in the world
(built in 1875), and F 210, a Fell brake-van
built in 1898.

These worked on the three-mile (4.8km)
Rimutaka Incline, New Zealand's steepest
railway line, from 1878 to 1955.
